Prior to beginning his work as a full-time consultant, executive coach,
and trainer in 1997, Gene served on the career consulting and human resources
staff of Right Management Consultants, and the corporate human resources
staff of Fortune 100 companies including Bowater, Inc., J.P. Stevens,
Inc., and PepsiCo.
Gene earned a Masters degree in Industrial Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth
University. He is a graduate of the Coach Training Institute and has earned
the International Coach Federation’s Professional Certified Coach
(PCC) credential.
He is involved in various community and professional organizations including
International Coach Federation (past-president of the SC Upstate Chapter),
Society for Human Resource Management, and the American Society for Training
and Development.
